Came across an old proof sheet from college 20 years ago. Coming up on film and developing in a dark room taught me a lot about the art and science of film and photography.
It takes patience and there is no instant gratification with no screen to review my shot. Each shot matters when I had to pay for film. I had to dial in my settings and then get the exposure and chemicals right in the processing because there was no software to adjust everything in post.
Shooting on film brought out a better composition.
